Budapest, Hungary – Red Bull Racing is reportedly preparing to reintroduce its distinctive rear wing design, famously known as the “Macarena Wing,” for the upcoming Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix. The team believes the aerodynamic solution could provide the RB26 with a crucial performance advantage at the high-downforce Hungaroring circuit.

The nickname “Macarena Wing” comes from the unique shape of Red Bull’s rear wing, which resembles the hand movements from the iconic Macarena dance. The design quickly attracted attention throughout the paddock due to its unconventional appearance and its ability to deliver a balance between high downforce and aerodynamic efficiency.

The Hungaroring’s tight and technical layout makes it one of the most challenging circuits on the F1 calendar when it comes to aerodynamic performance. Unlike high-speed tracks that demand low drag and maximum straight-line speed, the Hungarian circuit requires strong grip, precise handling, and stability through a series of slow and medium-speed corners.
