Scuderia Ferrari is preparing to introduce a major upgrade package for its SF-26 after the Formula 1 2026 summer break. The aggressive move is aimed at closing the performance gap and challenging the dominance of Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes during the second half of the season.

During the summer break, Ferrari conducted an extensive analysis of race data to identify the weaknesses of the SF-26. The team’s main focus is improving qualifying performance and enhancing the power unit’s flexibility when accelerating out of corners.
