The world of endurance racing could witness one of the most exciting driver pairings in recent years, as Formula 1 star Lando Norris revealed his interest in one day sharing a car with MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Norris and Rossi crossed paths at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they were asked about the possibility of becoming teammates in an endurance racing project. The McLaren driver admitted that competing at Le Mans is something he would love to do in the future, and teaming up with Rossi would be a huge honor.
“Le Mans is something I want to do one day,” Norris said. He also expressed his admiration for Rossi and said that racing alongside the MotoGP legend would be a special experience.
Rossi is already familiar with endurance racing. After retiring from MotoGP, “The Doctor” switched to four-wheel racing and became a factory BMW driver. He has also experienced the atmosphere of Le Mans, competing in the LMGT3 category with Team WRT.
Meanwhile, Norris has long shown his passion for endurance racing despite his main focus remaining in Formula 1. The British driver has previously competed in virtual endurance events and has often spoken about his desire to take on some of the biggest races outside F1.
If this dream partnership becomes reality, a Norris–Rossi lineup would instantly become one of the most talked-about combinations in Le Mans history. A Formula 1 star and a MotoGP icon sharing the same garage would create enormous attention from motorsport fans around the world.
However, for now, there has been no official announcement confirming Norris and Rossi as teammates for Le Mans. The idea remains a possibility for the future, but one that would certainly excite racing fans everywhere.
