Luxury fashion and automotive craftsmanship have come together in one of the most exclusive collaborations ever created. Louis Vuitton and Singer Vehicle Design have unveiled two extraordinary Porsche 911 models that combine Singer’s obsessive approach to air-cooled Porsche restoration with Louis Vuitton’s expertise in watchmaking, leather craftsmanship, and luxury travel goods.
Unlike many luxury collaborations that are limited to badges, color schemes, or special editions, Louis Vuitton and Singer have taken a far more comprehensive approach. The result is a pair of individually commissioned Porsche 911 models: one Classic Coupe and one Classic Turbo Cabriolet. Together, they represent a fusion of engineering, horology, craftsmanship, and travel-inspired design.
The Project Started With a Dashboard Clock
Interestingly, the collaboration began with something much smaller than a car: a simple analog clock integrated into the dashboard.
Louis Vuitton’s Swiss watchmaking workshop, La Fabrique du Temps, developed a removable mechanical clock inspired by the Tambour collection. The clock can be removed from the vehicle and used as a standalone desk clock.
That initial request eventually evolved into a much larger project. The partnership expanded into redesigned instrumentation, bespoke materials, and ultimately two highly personalized Porsche 911 models based on the legendary 964-generation platform.
“This unique and extraordinary project began with a request for a dashboard clock for a car reimagined by Singer. It quickly became clear that this collaboration could expand into personalizing every functional element of the vehicle,” said Jean Arnault, Director of Watches at Louis Vuitton.
Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Coupe
The first vehicle, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Coupe, features a striking saffron-colored body with cobalt blue and yellow accents.
The car is equipped with a custom roof rack designed to carry specially made Louis Vuitton travel equipment, including luggage, surfboards, or skis.
Underneath its classic silhouette, the Porsche delivers modernized performance. A 4.0-liter naturally aspirated air-cooled flat-six engine sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, offering the pure driving experience that defines Singer creations.
Large carbon-ceramic brakes provide exceptional stopping power, while an active rear spoiler improves stability at high speeds.
The attention to detail extends far beyond the exterior paint. The two-door cabin features natural leather inspired by Louis Vuitton’s signature materials, complete with yellow saddle stitching, Monogram Flower-inspired air vents, and diamond-pattern embossing designed to resemble the malletage lining found inside Louis Vuitton trunks.
Singer also replaced decades-old factory plastic components with handcrafted metal pieces, including switches, air vents, and pull handles, creating a cabin that feels more like a handcrafted luxury object than a traditional sports car interior.

Porsche 911 Classic Turbo Cabriolet: A Parisian and Nautical-Inspired Creation
The second commission began as the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, a 964-based Cabriolet finished in Calcaire Lutétien, a color inspired by the limestone associated with Paris.
The exterior combines warm brown, gold, leather, and wood details inspired by classic motorboats, creating a more elegant and maritime character.
Unlike the naturally aspirated Coupe, this Cabriolet is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine featuring an air-to-water intercooler. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.
The performance-focused specification remains true to Singer’s philosophy, with carbon-fiber bodywork, the iconic whale-tail rear spoiler, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
The open-top variant was designed with creative input from Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton’s Women’s Collections. The interior features a Tambour-inspired clock on the center console, warm gold-colored instruments, matching ignition components, and lacquered wood throughout the rear luggage compartment, engine bay, and front trunk.
The front luggage area houses a specially designed three-piece luggage set, while the soft top and wooden deck elements reinforce the classic nautical theme.
More Than Just Cars: A Complete Luxury Experience
As expected from two brands with such strong craftsmanship traditions, the collaboration extends beyond the vehicles themselves.
The collection includes bespoke clothing, helmets, driving gloves, key holders, and custom luggage designed specifically for each car.
The true significance of this project lies in its philosophy. Louis Vuitton sees the collaboration as an extension of its long history with travel, while Singer has applied its obsessive restoration philosophy to a completely new level of materials, finishes, and personalization.
Neither company has revealed pricing, production numbers, or customer availability. However, considering the level of craftsmanship involved, these two Porsche 911 creations are expected to become some of the rarest and most desirable collector cars in the world.
At a time when many luxury automotive collaborations rely heavily on branding, Louis Vuitton and Singer have created something different. They have shown that true luxury is not defined by logos alone, but by craftsmanship, precision, and the ability of every tangible detail to tell a story.
