BMW M Motorsport has revealed a special Spider-Man-inspired livery for its BMW M Hybrid V8 No. 24 as part of the celebration for the upcoming Marvel Studios movie “Spider-Man: A New Day.”
The unique prototype race car, operated by Team WRT and driven by Dries Vanthoor and Sheldon van der Linde, will compete at the 6 Hours of Road America, part of the Michelin Endurance Cup in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The exclusive design combines the iconic colors of Spider-Man — red, blue, and white — with BMW M Motorsport’s aggressive racing identity. The car features a large BMW emblem at the front and a Spider-Man silhouette integrated into the engine cover, creating a distinctive appearance that connects the worlds of motorsport and Marvel.
This special livery celebrates the collaboration between BMW, Sony Pictures, and Marvel Entertainment, bringing a cinematic touch to one of the most advanced endurance racing machines in the world.
Unlike a static show car, the Spider-Man BMW M Hybrid V8 will see real competition action on the track during the Road America race weekend. Meanwhile, the sister BMW M Hybrid V8 No. 25 will continue to run with its traditional BMW M Motorsport colors.
The collaboration between BMW and Spider-Man extends beyond the racetrack. The upcoming movie will also feature several BMW models, including the BMW 5 Series and the latest-generation BMW iX3, which will play important roles in the film.
BMW has also introduced the futuristic BMW iX3 Flow, equipped with E Ink Prism technology, which allows the vehicle’s exterior appearance to change dynamically. The concept will be displayed at BMW Welt in Munich as part of the brand’s technology showcase.
In addition, BMW has created a special Spider-Man animation experience for owners of compatible BMW vehicles in selected markets, further expanding the partnership between automotive innovation and entertainment.
Despite its superhero-inspired appearance, BMW’s main focus remains performance. The manufacturer arrives at Road America aiming to continue its strong momentum in the GTP category and fight for another competitive result in the IMSA championship.

The Spider-Man-themed BMW M Hybrid V8 proves that modern motorsport is not only about speed and technology, but also about creating memorable experiences that connect racing with global pop culture.
